Expanding the Extension Audience: Partnering with Vocational Rehabilitation Agency to Reach Individuals with Disabilities

This webinar will describe the development of a relationship between Extension/4-H and the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) to support individuals with disabilities. Two county agents virtually delivered a training to a group of their employees on classroom management and available curriculum. This training opportunity evolved into a continued partnership of the GROW program where Extension/4-H provided program content for a portion of a 5-day program meant to enhance the life and job skills of those with disabilities. The webinar will also provide examples of curriculum modifications utilized in the program content to make the material accessible.
